This work titled "Cross Swell" was inspired by an ocean phenomenon when waves from a distant weather system cross in a new place.  This is a rich metaphor for what happens along the way, what is encountered and where one finds oneself. To fit this large paper size, I needed a stroke that would make it from top to bottom and interact with another going the other way.
